It tells the timeless story of the battle between Barong, the symbol of goodness and protection, and Rangda, the queen of evil spirits. The performance combines traditional Balinese dance, dramatic storytelling, live gamelan music, colorful costumes, and spiritual elements.

During the performance, warriors under Rangda’s spell attempt to attack themselves with their keris (traditional Balinese daggers), but Barong’s magical power protects them from harm. This dramatic scene represents the eternal balance between good and evil in Balinese Hindu philosophy.
